Hiab / Grab Hire
We offer a professional grab hire and Hiab unit hire service. We aim to offer you what you need: a reliable and cost effective service.
Grab lorries and Hiab units can save large amounts of time and money by reducing the amount of plant machinery on site and subsequent labour needed to use them. Grab lorries and Hiab units are ideal when working in tight or difficult sites, such as ones with high walls or where building materials cannot be left outside the site boundary. Unlike skips, grab lorries and Hiab units are self-sufficient – they arrive on site, they load themselves and then leave. They do not require any external machinery to help load the vehicle.
Our grab lorries and Hiab units are available in several different configurations:
- normal loading bucket for loading rubbish or off loading aggregates
- brick grab
- just hook for use with slings and chains etc
- clam shell for use with loose materials and aggregates
- no crane so the vehicle is used as a normal tipper lorry.
We also offer trailer hire.
Our vehicles are fitted with drop sides to make loading and offloading easy and safe. They carry their own set of chains, straps and shackles which cover most day to day exercises. All vehicles are fully inspected and tested every six months and all certificates are carried in the vehicle. We also offer a technical support service in the event that anything does go wrong.

Our grab lorries come with the reassurance that we are a registered waste carrier with a conscientious and responsible attitude. We are fully insured to operate craned vehicles on and off the public highway and our drivers are experienced CITB qualified operators.
